New Neurodivergence Assessment Options Beginning in Fall 2026
While self-identification is valid and embraced within neurodivergent communities, assessments are offered for those that find formal evaluation to be an important part of their own healing and self-exploration journeys.
Conducted by an AuDHD (Autistic + ADHD) clinician, our assessments emphasize a strengths-based approach to the exploration of innate differences, with the goal of empowering our clients to embrace their authentic selves.

Our Autism and ADHD assessments center the stories of neurodivergent people, instead of snapshots of behavior taken through a neuronormative lens. We strive to offer clients an evaluation experience that is collaborative, inclusive, and the start to a new chapter of healing.

Our Autism and ADHD assessments are available with either an abbreviated or comprehensive report, depending on your own needs and motivations for evaluation. All clients receive the same individualized assessment process, regardless of the report option selected.
Comprehensive reports (30-40+ pages) include a detailed biopsychosocial history narrative, assessment format with all completed instruments and outcome data, in-depth explanations of clinical interviews with correlating diagnostic criteria, diagnostic findings, integrated assessment summary, specific recommendations, and resources for ongoing identity development.
The comprehensive option tends to be a good fit for those who are seeking formal academic or workplace accommodations, who need more extensive documentation for established care providers, or who simply want more detailed insights into their unique neurodivergent profile of strengths and differences in domains of social relationships and communication, sensory processing, emotional processing, and executive functioning.
Abbreviated reports (5-10 pages) include screening measure results, testing instrument scores, diagnostic findings, general recommendations, and resources for ongoing identity development. The abbreviated option tends to be a good fit for those who are seeking a neuroaffirming evaluation process with identification of neurodivergent diagnoses by a licensed provider, and primarily want documentation for their own personal understanding, self-advocacy, or to share with a trusted provider.
As a fully independent practice that does not bill insurance, assessment diagnoses are completely private. These diagnoses are not entered into our EHR system, and final reports are given directly to clients so that outcomes are known to them alone (*unless a client has signed a release, and requested that we share a report with an outside and trusted provider).
Additionally, your assessment sessions are never recorded, and we never utilize AI in our clinical practice or documentation.
We are a fully independent practice that does not accept or bill insurance. By opting out of managed care systems, we are able to offer more specialized neurodivergent and queer-affirming services that deviate from deficit-based medical models, and instead center the safety, privacy, autonomy, and lived experiences of our clients.
Our self-pay assessments allow us to best protect our clients’ privacy, and best ensure that our clients have the greatest amount of autonomy possible over how their personal information is shared and used.
While superbills with assessment codes will be generated, we cannot guarantee that insurances will reimburse for these services, and encourage clients to consider their privacy needs when deciding whether to pursue reimbursements.
While we welcome informative insights from loved ones and trusted support persons, we do not require collateral interviews. Several of our standardized measures offer options to have partners, family members, and/or close friends virtually complete their own versions, but we encourage everyone to consider their unique circumstances when it comes to whether or not it feels safe and helpful to do so.
Absolutely! Depending on the circumstances, we may request an additional one-time session with you that is billed at our standard hourly rate, in order to clarify any specific accommodation or documentation needs (particularly if these were not covered within the context of your assessment) so that we can best support you.
However, if you are planning to request accommodations, we strongly encourage you to confirm your organization’s requirements before moving forward with an assessment whenever possible. While we are able to provide documentation that meets most requirements, certain educational institutions and employers have specific criteria (e.g. neuropsychological testing) that they require in order to access these supports, and we want to ensure our services are aligned with your needs.
No, you do not have to be an official resident of these states. However, due to licensure requirements, it is necessary that you be physically present in either Pennsylvania or Maryland for all video assessment sessions.
If the outcomes of your assessment are not aligned with an Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD neurotype, our primary job is to help ensure that you walk away with 1) an understanding of why, and 2) an alternative answer or direction that does make sense of your lived experiences. Whether this alternative answer is in the form of a formal diagnosis, or simply diagnostic impressions for further self-exploration, we hope to empower all clients with greater self-knowledge and therapeutic recommendations for the next steps of their journey.
